nibbāna·sappāyaṃ vo, bhikkhave, paṭipadaṃ desessāmi. taṃ suṇātha, sādhukaṃ manasi karotha; bhāsissāmi. katamā ca sā, bhikkhave, nibbāna·sappāyā paṭipadā?

idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu 'cakkhuṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'rūpā dukkhā'ti passati, 'cakkhu·viññāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'cakkhu·samphasso dukkho'ti passati, yam·p·idaṃ cakkhu·samphassa·paccayā uppajjati vedayitaṃ sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā tam·pi dukkhan'ti passati.

'sotaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'saddā dukkhā'ti passati, 'sota·viññāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'sota·samphasso dukkho'ti passati, 'yam·p·idaṃ sota·samphassa·paccayā uppajjati vedayitaṃ sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā tam·pi dukkhan'ti passati.

'ghāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'gandhā dukkhā'ti passati, 'ghāṇa·viññāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'ghāṇa·samphasso dukkho'ti passati, 'yam·p·idaṃ ghāṇa·samphassa·paccayā uppajjati vedayitaṃ sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā tam·pi dukkhan'ti passati.

'jivhā dukkhā'ti passati, 'rasā dukkhā'ti passati, 'jivhā·viññāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'jivhā·samphasso dukkho'ti passati, 'yam·p·idaṃ jivhā·samphassa·paccayā uppajjati vedayitaṃ sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā tam·pi dukkhan'ti passati.

'kāyo dukkho'ti passati, 'phoṭṭhabbā dukkhā'ti passati, 'kāya·viññāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'kāya·samphasso dukkho'ti passati, 'yam·p·idaṃ kāya·samphassa·paccayā uppajjati vedayitaṃ sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkhamasukhaṃ vā tam·pi dukkhan'ti passati.

'mano dukkho'ti passati, 'dhammā dukkhā'ti passati, 'mano·viññāṇaṃ dukkhan'ti passati, 'mano·samphasso dukkho'ti passati, 'yam·p·idaṃ mano·samphassa·paccayā uppajjati vedayitaṃ sukhaṃ vā dukkhaṃ vā adukkham·a·sukhaṃ vā tam·pi dukkhan'ti passati.
